$4,000 per MONTH in PASSIVE INCOME for Content Creators

Content creation is one of my passions, and finding a way to make money by creating content has changed my life. Let’s talk about seven different ways that you can make PASSIVE INCOME through content creation. Soon you'll be making money while you sleep just by following your passion.

YouTube Adsense

Youtube has become an incredible way to make money. Hundreds of thousands of channels are making money from their content. If you’re looking to become monetized on YouTube, you’ll need to gather 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watch time on your channel. After that, you’re in!

It’s important to understand that different niches earn different payouts on YouTube. This is determined by CRM (Cost per Mille). CRM is the amount an advertiser is willing to pay for placement alongside your videos. The most an advertiser is willing to pay, the higher your CRM, and the more you earn.

I average anywhere between $300-$500 a month through YouTube Adsense. On strong months, this number can jump up as high at $1,500-$2,000.

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is a way for creators to earn a little money by promoting products they know and love. Creators can sign up with a company like Amazon, and create their own custom links for products. If viewers use these links to make purchases, the creator earns a little commission. It’s a simple system that requires minimal work and can lead to large amounts of passive income!

Stock Footage

One of the most passive methods on this list is selling stock footage. If you’re a photographer or videographer, you’re probably gathering footage anyway…why not sell it! Take your extra footage that’s laying around on harddrives, toss it on a website like pond5.com or wirestock.io, and wait. When you’re relaxing with friends, you might just make money on stock footage sales.

Creator Funds/Bonuses

THIS IS THE BIG WINNER! Creator Funds are the newest creation on this list. Ever since TikTok introduced their Creator Fund in recent years, companies like Meta and YouTube have followed suit. What is this? It’s a chunk of money (millions and billions of dollars) that are being awarded to content creators for making content on various apps. Vertical, short-form content to be exact. This is a total gold rush, so get on it while it’s hot. With creator funds, I’m making 4-5 digits of extra cash per month.

Sponsorships

Working with sponsors has always been a part of content creator income. Finding brands who align with you and your content can be a critical way of building cash. You promote the brand, they pay you. It’s a give and take. If you can find brands that are willing to sponsor the content you are making, you can earn hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars while doing what it is you’re already doing…creating content.

Online Courses

Online education has become HUGE in recent years. People are spending more and more of this form of learning. This is why it’s a great time to get into teaching your own courses online. If you have a strong passion for something, you can make the content to teach that thing. Yes, with this, there is a lot of upfront work, but once the course is live, you can kick back and relax.

Digital Assets

The last method of passive income for content creators is selling digital assets. Content creators have presets for so many things…LUTs, lightroom presets, after effects templates. Whatever it is that you use to edit your work, someone out there may want to buy it! Build an e-commerce shop and start making a little side cash.
